Heavy Equipment Camps

Heavy Metal Learning is a strong advocate for bridging the skills gap and providing a gateway for the next generation to get access to the trades. The country is experiencing explosive growth along with an aging construction workforce. This is causing a huge need for new operators and mechanics to fill these jobs. Our Heavy Equipment Camps are experiential learning events for students to come out and see if construction industry is a potential career path. What sets us apart is two-fold. One, we are not a training facility. Our goal is to create energy and provide a cost effective, entry level exposure to these fields as many may never even considered as a career. Secondly, our camps provide actual “hands on” learning. Not only will they get tours, discussion and instruction… but actual stick time behind the controls of real construction equipment. We can partner with local schools, organizations, or industry benefactors. Our camps are tailored for students ages 12-20 years old to experience hands-on learning in the construction industry.
